So, you‘re thinking about getting a blog for yourself?  You’re going to need to know where to begin. It’s not hard to do and you can get a great blog for free if you want.  Let’s first explain more about what a blog is in case you’re not sure.
A blog is your own little spot on the internet where you can write as often as you want about anything you want, your place to express yourself to the world. Instead of your posts going from first to last, such as in an article, The last piece you write will appear on top so the first thing people will see when they visit your blog is you most recent post.  People visiting your blog can click a link and leave a comment; you can also answer the comment if you like. This option can be disabled if you do not want any one commenting.
Are you ready to get your own blog? If you do a search on the internet for blogs you will come up with plenty of results and names of sites that offer a free blog for you to get.

The most popular ones are your best choice if you are just starting out. They are made for the newbie and make it easy for you to get started, signed up, and creating your blog. Since they are so widely used you should have no problem getting help from other blog users if you have a problem you can’t resolve on the site.
Once you decide which blog site you think you will like, go ahead and sign up. Then you can go through the steps to get everything set up. Spend some time getting to know how to change and edit things before you publish your blog. If you have problems working with it you may want to try a different site.  Everyone has personal preferences and you may have to try out some more before you find the one you can get along with.
This will keep you from having a bunch of blogs out in cyberspace with barely anything on them or changing your link at everyplace you have it advertised. You can do many things with your blog. Many sites have special widgets you can use and you can also find neat things on the internet to put there. If you can’t figure out how to make your blog better, go and look at other blogs that are doing well, it will give you a lot of ideas. Once you get to know your blog, you will be about to post and make changes quickly making it easy for you to connect with other bloggers and get interested visitors.
